Pleasant A. Brock married Martha Eugenia Horne 10 Feb 1869 in Wadesboro, Anson, North Carolina.1 Martha Eugenia Horne, is the daughter of William E. Horne and his wife Sarah. She was born on 3 Mar 1852 in Anson County, North Carolina.

Pleasant is the son of Alsey Brock and Lucy Morris. Alsey is an older brother to my second great grandfather, Hezekiah Brock. According to the Family Bible, Martha Eugenia Horne Brock married Thomas Alexander Gandy on July 20, 1875. The Family Bible is still in possession of the Gandy Family.

Pleasant A Brock died of typhoid fever at the very young age of thirty-three just a few weeks prior to his 34th birthday.

  2. It onlty shows up in my Brock Line. There are 3 Pleasant A., i Pleasant E and 1 Pleasant K. Brock
