It’s Family Time~Amanda E. Previtte Campbell

It's Family TimeAmanda E. Previtte daughter of James Thomas Previtte and Mary Huldah Davis was born on 19 May 1898 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina.

At age 14, she married Colon Douglas Campbell on 4 August 1912.

On 6 August 1914, their first child, a son called Leo was born. I have been told that another son, Laudy Campbell was born sometime after the birth of Leo. No record of this child has been found in the census so it’s likely he died young.

Then on 15 October tragedy struck this young and growing family. Amanda had suffered with bouts of epilepsy since the age of 14 and on this day she unexpectedly passed away from an Epilepsy attack per her SC Death certificate.
