My interest in this land deed (DB 21:625-626) and another Anson County Land Deed (DB 21:615-616) is they contain proof that Joel Sellers married Rachel Phillips daughter of Reuben J. Phillips and his wife Hannah.

James Phillips, dated December 1st., 1855, and registered on the registers Office of Anson County, in Deed Book No. 14, on pages 539 and 540. (DB 21:614 & 615)
