Tombstone Tuesday - Jessie Gwyn & Lula Previtte

Jessie Gwyn Previtte was born on 6 Mar 1876 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina.1 2 3 He registered for the draft during World War I.4 Jesse is listed with his wife in the 1930 census for Court House, Chesterfield, South Carolina.5  He died on 7 Oct 1956 at the age of 79 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina and was buried in Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina.6 7
 J. Guin Previtte, 70, died at his home in the Zoar section of Chesterfield County early Sunday morning. Survivors include his widow, the former Lula McBride; one brother Michael Previtte of Morven, N. C., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted from Zoar Methodist Church at 3 P. Jessie Gwyn Previtte and Lula J. McBride were married in 1903.10 Lula J. McBride was born on 18 Oct 1883 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina.11 She died on 1 Mar 1959 at the age of 75 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina and was buried in Mar 1959 in Zoar United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina.  Jessie Guin Previtte was my great grand uncle. His parents John Washington Previtte and Elizabeth "Bette Davis" are my second great grandparents.
