Rev. Valentine William Brock

Rev. Valentine William Brock was born about 1802 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. He was the first born child of William Brock and his wife Charlotte. He was a Baptist Minister.[1]

Rev. Valentine William Brock and Vashti Brooks were married on 12 Oct 1835 in Claiborne County, Mississippi [2]. Vashti Brooks was born about 1813 in MS. She died on 6 Mar 1851 at the age of 38. 

Valentine William Brock and Vashti Brooks had the following children: 

i. George W. Brock was born on 20 Jul 1836 in MS. He died on 11 Sep 1843 at the age of 7.
ii. Joseph Bowmar Brock was born on 2 Aug 1838 in MS. He died on 22 Oct 1844 at the age of 6.
iii. Theodore Brock was born about 1840 in Claiborne County, Mississippi.
iv. Albert Brock was born about 1842 in Claiborne County, Mississippi.
v. Charles Brock, born abt 1845, Claiborne County, Mississippi; married Mary Elizabeth Clark.
vi. Henry Brock was born about 1847 in Claiborne County, Mississippi.
vii. Mary C. Brock was born about 1850 in Claiborne County, Mississippi. 

Rev. Valentine William Brock and Martha Conger Sims were married on 16 Mar 1852 in Tensas Parish, Louisiana.[3] Martha Conger Sims, daughter of James Sims and Elizabeth Conger, was born on 11 Feb 1812 in Vicksburg, MS. She died in 1907 at the age of 95. 

Valentine William Brock and Martha Conger Sims had the following child: 

i. Martha Valentine "Mattie" Brock, born 26 Sep 1858, Clinton, MS; married Andrew Jackson Brown, May 1877, Clinton, MS.
