Tombstone Tuesday~Samuel Arnold Brock

Samuel Arnold Brock was the the 4th born child of Samuel Washington Brock and Sarah Jane Lee. He had nine siblings; five sisters and four brothers.1 2

About 1910, Samuel Arnold married Henrietta Elizabeth “Hennie” Smith daughter of Charlie Smith and Annie Atkinson. They would live to raise a family of eight children; four sons and four daughters. 3

Samuel Arnold died on 6 February 1944. His South Carolina Death certificate (#07703) shows he suffered a “stroke apoplexy”. He was 67 years of age.4


Samuel Arnold Brock is my 2nd cousin 3 times removed.
