William C. Davis
William C. Davis died yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Daniel Dunkle, 1948 Derry street in his 71st year. He is survived by the following children. Harry A., James W., George S., Harvey L. Charles E., Mrs. Daniel Dunkle, Mrs. Elmer Wagner, Mrs. T. J. Harvey, Mrs. Luther Bennett, Mrs. Isaac Yost and 48 grandchildren. Mr. Davis was a member of Shepherds of Bethlehem Lodge No. 21 and of Epworth M. E. church, at Twenty-first and Derry streets, at which place the funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The pastor, the Rev. J. D. W. Deaver, will officiate assisted by the Rev. Harry B. King of Paxtang. Interment will be in the East Harrisburg cemetery.

8. David Davis: born Nov 1717 in Merion Township; married Dec 1738; died 1793 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina.

9. Jane Miles: born 1720 in Pencader Hundred, DE; died bef 1772.

 
William Cornelius Davis is my 1st cousin 4 times removed.
