Martin I. Huneycutt was born on 14 Dec 1835 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. 1 2 He was the son of Marcus I. Huneycutt and his wife Charity Dry. Martin had eight siblings; five brothers and three sisters. 
 
Martin married Unicey [LNU], in 1880; Unicey was born in 1848 and this was a second marriage for both Martin and Unicey according to the 1910 Census. 
 
Martin died on 12 Apr 1918 at the age of 82 in Big Lick, Stanly, North Carolina. He was buried on 14 Apr 1918 at Running Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. 
 
At the present time it is not known when Unicey Huneycutt, wife of Martin, passed away.
 
Martin I. Huneycutt is my 2nd Great Grand Uncle.
