A Brief Update

 

On 4 December, my 92 year old Aunt, whom I care for, fell and broke her right hip. After three nights in a local hospital and transfer to a more update hospital we learned that the fall may have been caused by a heart attack. 

The Doctors felt that the heart problem had to be resolved before any hip operation could take place. Further testing revealed more recent heart deterioration and that my Aunt did not have the strength to sustain such delicate and tedious operations. Complicating the situations is also a bout of pneumonia.

At present, my Aunt is resting well in a local Hospice Haven.
