It’s Family Time~ The Benjamin Franklin Brock Jr. Family
Benjamin Franklin Brock Jr. was born on 29 Jan 1894 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. 1 He is enumerated with his parents in both the 1900 and 1910 census for Chesterfield County, South Carolina. 2
Benjamin Franklin, Jr. and Cora Jemima Brock were married on 31 October 1915, in Chesterfield County, South Carolina by M. J. Hough. Cora was born 11 September 1895, a daughter of William Thomas Brock and Margaret Ellen Newby. 4
Benjamin Franklin Brock, Jr. and Cora Jemima Brock had the following children:
i. Daniel William Brock Sr., born 4 Aug 1918; died 2 Aug 1989, Fort Mill, York, South Carolina.
ii. Roy Lee Brock, born 17 Sep 1920, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; died 27 Sep 1991, Rock Hill, York, South Carolina.
Benjamin Franklin Brock, Jr. died 30 November 1964 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. His wife, Cora, died 15 October 1976 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. They are both buried in Grandview Memorial Park. 5 6
Benjamin Franklin Brock, Jr. is my Grand Uncle.
