The parents of Aaron Sellers are not known. When James Pigg did his book “Some Descendants of Hardy Sellers, Sr.” no mention was made of an Aaron Sellers born in 1830 and married to Hannah Crawford. ¹

Aaron and Hannah was married about 1855 in Chesterfield, South Carolina. They had the following children:

i. Elizabeth C. "Betty" Sellers, born 22 Nov 1856, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; married Benjamin E. Gainey; died 12 Oct 1925, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. ^{2 3}
ii. William D. Sellers was born about 1860 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. ^{4 5}
iii. Pamelia J. Sellers was born on 29 Jun 1862 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. She died on 10 Nov 1941 at the age of 79. ^{6 7 8}
iv. Joseph Mitchell Sellers, born 14 Aug 1865, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; married Permelia Stroud, abt 1893, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; died 27 Jul 1924, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina.
v. John W. Sellers was born in Jul 1872 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. ^{9 10}
vi. Michael Sellers was born in Sep 1876 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. ^{11 12}
There is one clue to the parents of Aaron Sellers. The 1850 census for Chesterfield County shows that his Mother was Abigail, born 1789 and that he had a brother names Josiah Sellers born about 1829. ¹³
