It’s Family Time~Elizabeth Brock

It's Family Time
Elizabeth Brock was born in Jun 1845, a daughter of Alexander Brock and Timmrah White. Elizabeth was their first born of what would ultimately turn out to be a family of 6 children. 1 2 3 4 5 6 In 1866, her mother died with the birth of her sixth child, a son. Then sometime after 1870 her father, Alexander, passed away.
 
In the 1900 Census for Chesterfield County she was enumerated in the household of her brother, Ervin Samuel Brock, his wife and family. In the 1910 census she was living with her brother David Brock and his family. Then in 1920, Elizabeth is in the household of her nephew, James Alexander “Zannie” Brock and his family.
 
Elizabeth remained unmarried all of her life and spent her life helping her brothers to care for her nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth Brock, age 75, died on 15 Feb 1921 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage.
Elizabeth Brock is my 1st cousin 3 times removed.
