Sunday’s Obituary~Mrs. Mary A. Purvis Johnson
Mary Angeline Purvis was the daughter of John Jackson Purvis and Henrietta Welsh. She was the second born of 10 children with 2 brothers and 7 sisters.
Mary Angeline Purvis was born on 11 March 1871. She married Griffeth Johnson who passed away 4 short years later. They had one child, a daughter, born October 1897. Since Griffeth is not listed with Mary Angeline and her daughter in the 1900 Census it is believed that Griffeth Johnson passed away prior to 1900.
