Amanuensis Monday~Land Deed from the Burned Book- Michael Davis to Kinchen Previtt Deed

Amanuensis Monday is a genealogy blogging theme. It was started by John Newmark who writes the TransylvanianDutch blog.

His definition of Amanuensis is:
Amanuensis: A person employed to write what another dictates or to copy what has been written by another.

Today’s subject is a Chesterfield County Land Deed from the Burned Book- Michael Davis to Kinchen Previtt Deed

Note: for those who don’t know, the Burnt/Burned Book is a Pre Civil War Deed Book that was recovered from the Bonfire when Union Troops burned the Courthouse and it’s contents in March 1865.
