It’s Family Time~The Hardy Sellers Gaddy Family

Its-Family-Time2Hardy Sellers Gaddy was born on 29 Jul 1815 in Anson County, North Carolina. He was a son of Thomas Gaddy and Mary R. Sellers. He had 4 sisters and two brothers.

Hardy died on 30 Nov 1895 at the age of 80 in Jasper, Walker, Alabama. A Memorial has been created for him at www.findagrave.com.

Hardy Sellers Gaddy married Nancy Malinda Ivey about 1856 in Dekalb County, Georgia.

Nancy Malinda Ivey, daughter of John Ivey and Armine Leverett, was born on 7 Mar 1824 in Dekalb County, Georgia.

Nancy Gaddy died on 21 Dec 1914 at the age of 90 in Jasper, Walker, Alabama. A Memorial has been created for her at www.findagrave.com.

Hardy Sellers Gaddy and Nancy Malinda Ivey had the following children:
         i.    Mary A. Gaddy was born about 1857.
         ii.    John Thomas Gaddy was born about 1860.
         iii.    Mandy M. Gaddy was born about 1865.
         iv.    George Washington Gaddy, born 14 Apr 1866; married Zorelde Belle Tubbs, abt 1894; died 10 Jun 1933, Walker County, Alabama.
         v.    Sarah M. Gaddy was born about 1870.


Hardy Sellers Gaddy is my First cousin 5 times removed.
