Treasure Chest Thursday-Marriage of my Maternal Grandparents~Julius John and Mamie Brock

Julius John (now Johns) and Mamie Brock were married on 16 June 1912 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield County, South Carolina.

Julius John was the son of Joseph Henry John and his wife Laura Driggers.

Mary Catherine “Mamie” Brock was the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Brock and Louise Ellen Sellers.

To this union was born 8 children of which 7 lived long productive lives. A baby boy born in 1923 died at the age of 1 month.
