Catherine Brock was born Mar 1837 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, a daughter of Squire H. Brock and Rachel Parker.
She married William L. Davis on 2 March 1857 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. In late 1869 or early 1870, William and Catherine moved to Duval County, Florida where they settled for the rest of their lives.

DAVIS, age 02, born in SC.
They reared 7 children; 5 sons and 2 daughters. William was killed, when struck by lightning, in July 1891 and Catherine passed away in July 1917.
Catherine Brock Davis is my 1st Cousin 4 times removed.
