The Marriage of Jacob Dry and Catherin Hegler, 1799.
Jacob Dry was born between 1771 and 1774. His parents are unknown at this time. In August 1799, he married Catherine Hegler in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. a Jacob Dry that I believe to be this Jacob is enumerated in 1800, 1810 and 1830 Census for Cabarrus County, North Carolina.
The 1800 Census shows that Jacob Dry was born before 1774. The 1830 Census shows that the earliest Jacob could have been born was 1771; So Jacob Dry birth occurred between 1771 and 1774.
In 1800, the Jacob Dry family Household consisted of:
1 Male age 26-44

1 male under 10

In 1810, the Jacob Dry family Household consisted of:

Several online trees show an 1854 death year date for Jacob Dry. I have not found this date in my research. I did find a Jacob Dry that was born 1762-1764; died 8-11-1852. However, his wife was Elizabeth, not Catherine but this could have been a 2nd marriage.
Dry, Pvt. Jacob— b. between 1762-64, d. 8-11-1852, m. Elizabeth
