The Marriage of Mary Tyson David and James Clark

Mary Tyson David/Davis was born in 1744, a daughter of John David and Mary Tyson. She was the 3rd born child of 10 children born to John and Mary.

Her parents, John and Mary had moved from Pennsylvania to New Castle County, Delaware in 1723.

Mary Tyson met and married James Clark on 21 April 1761. She was 17 years of age; he was a little older at age 25. They were married in Wilmington, New Castle, Delaware. The marriage is recorded on both Ancestry and FamilySearch websites. the database containing the marriage is called “Delaware, Marriage Records, 1750-1954”.

James Clark died in 1790 at age 54. It is not yet known when Mary Tyson David/Davis Clark passed away.

Mary Tyson David/Davis is my 1st Cousin 6 times removed.
