Sellers~Privett Marriage

Transcription:

Mr. William Sellers and Miss Laura Privett, both of the Zoar section of this county, were married Sunday at the Methodist parsonage at Chesterfield by Rev. J. L. Tyler.

William Eli Sellers and Laura Ella Previtte were married on Sunday, 10 January 1915 by Rev. J. L. Tyler. They lived in the Zoar community so this wedding probably took place in Zoar United Methodist Church in that community. 

William Eli Sellers, b. 16 December 1891 was a son of William Lucas Sellers and his wife Anna Rachel Whittington. Laura Ella Previtte, b. 12 December 1893 was a daughter of William Kenson “Billy” Previtte and his wife Henrietta Elizabeth Davis.

William and Laura had a family of 7 children of which 6 lived; three sons and three daughters, Their first-born, of unknown gender, did not survive. 

William Eli Sellers is my 3rd Cousin twice removed.

Laura Ella Previtte is my 1st Cousin twice removed.
