It’s Family Time~The Wilson Henry Family

 Wilson Henry was born about 1815 in Lilesville, Anson County, North Carolina. He was a son of Isham Henry and his wife Lucretia.

Wilson Henry married Malinda Ann Deese about 1846. Marriage year 1846 based on birth of first born child - Rachel Ann Henry, 26 August 1847.

Malinda Ann Deese was borne in Jan 1825 in Anson County, North Carolina, a daughter of James Deese and his wife Alice Bethea. 

To this union were borne six children:

i. Rachel Ann Henry was born on 26 Aug 1847 in Anson, North Carolina. Died, Unknown at this time.

ii. John T. Henry was born on 26 Jan 1850 in Anson, North Carolina; married Idella Jane Jerome in 1873.  He died on 9 Mar 1929 at the age of 79 in Lilesville, Anson, North Carolina

iii. William Frank Henry, born Aug 1854, Anson, North Carolina.

iv. Sarah Henry was born about 1855 in Anson, North Carolina; Died, Unknown at this time.

v. Thomas Furman Henry was born on 14 Sep 1857 in Anson County, North Carolina. Married Jessie Anna Cope. He died on 8 Feb 1931 at the age of 73 in Jerusalem, Davie, North Carolina.

vi. Mary Alice Henry, born 3 Mar 1869, Anson, North Carolina; married Charles Mackley Kelly, 12 Jun 1887, Anson County, North Carolina; died 13 Sep 1947, Lynchburg, Virginia.

In his younger years, Wilson worked as a carpenter; but, from 1860 till his death he was lifelong farmer in the Lilesville Community of Anson County.

Wilson Henry died 27 May 1899.  His wife Malinda Ann (Deese) Henry passed away on 13 May 1906 in Rowan County at the home of her son, Thomas Furman Henry. She was buried in the Family Burying Ground in Lilesville.
