Tombstone Tuesday - Richard Frederick "Fred" Davis

Richard Frederick "Fred" Davis was born on 21 Oct 1837 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina.[1] [2] [3] Richard Frederick is the son of Robert Richard "Ricks" Davis and his wife Sarah "Sallie" Rivers. Richard died on 7 Nov 1915 at the age of 78 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina.[4] He was buried on 8 Nov 1915 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. [5]

Richard Frederick Davis and Elizabeth McBride were married about 1860 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. Elizabeth McBride, daughter of William McBride and Jerusha Davis, was born in 1843 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina.[6] [7] [8] [9] [10] She died in 1901 at the age of 58 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina.

Richard Frederick Davis and Elizabeth McBride had the following children:

              i. Jefferson Fred Davis, born 30 Sep 1861, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina.
             ii. John Washington Davis, born 5 Nov 1865, Chesterfield County, South Carolina.

Richard Frederick Davis and Lucy Hardy White were married after 1901 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. Lucy Hardy White, daughter of Thrashley White and was born in Jul 1863 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina. [11] She died after 1915 at the age of 52.

Richard Frederick Davis and Lucy Hardy White had the following child:

                              i.   Robert L. Davis was born in 1903 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. [12]
