Amanuensis Monday~Trust Deed between Sine Page and R. A. Anderson

Amanuensis Monday is a genealogy blogging theme. It was started by John Newmark who writes the TransylvanianDutch blog.

His definition of Amanuensis is: Amanuensis: A person employed to write what another dictates or to copy what has been written by another.

Today’s document is a Trust Deed between Sine Page and R. A. Anderson, 1877. 1

DB 11, pg 501

Sion Page was born about 1802 and died about April 1887. He married Nancy (maiden name unknown). Many on line trees show Nancy’s maiden name to be ”DOVE” and another group has her listed as Nancy “ALMOND”. I have yet to find any documents that would substantiate either of these conclusions. If you have information on Nancy's maiden name I would love to hear from you.
During my on-line search of the Stanly County Deed Books I could not find any other Deeds in which my Sion Page was named. Evidently, he never owned any property within the county.

Sion Page is my 3rd Great Grand Father.
