Andrew J. McBride was a son of Archie McBride and Jerusha Davis. His wife, Elizabeth R. Boatwright, was the daughter of George R. Boatwright and Lauretta Hurst.

Andrew and Elizabeth were married about 1877 and together reared a family of four children; two boys and two girls. These children were:

1. Mary A. McBride
2. George R. McBride
3. William T. McBride
4. Lula J. McBride

Elizabeth passed away in July 1916 from chronic dyspepsia and gallstones. Andrew passed away 6 years later in June 1922 from acute dilatation of the heart (cardiomyopathy).

Both Andrew J. McBride and Elizabeth R. Boatwright are my 2nd Cousins 3 times removed.
