It’s Family Time~The Ida Delle Alford Family

Ida Delle Lang was born on 9 Jun 1915 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. She was a daughter of John Rufus Lang and Sarah Frances “Sallie” Purvis. She was the second borne child of a family of nine children. She had  4 sisters and 4 brothers.

Ida Delle Lang, age 20, and Clyde Harrison Alford, age 25, were married on 28 Sep 1935 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. Clyde Harrison Alford, son of John C. Alford and Ida Campbell, was born on 6 Feb 1910 in South Carolina. 

No known children were borne to this union.

Clyde Harrison Alford died on 26 Mar 1974 at the age of 64 in Morrisville, Wake, North Carolina. Ida Delle Lang died on 4 Dec 1982 at the age of 67 in Thomasville, Davidson, North Carolina. 

Clyde and Ida Alford are buried in Hayes Chapel Christian Church Cemetery
Garner, Wake County, North Carolina.

Ida Delle Lang Alford is my 1st Cousin Once removed.
