It’s Family Time~John Davis Perkins, Sr. Family

John Davis Perkins, Sr. was born on 6 Mar 1874 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina.

He was the son of James Franklin Perkins and Margaret Emeline “Aunt Mag” Davis. After leaving Chesterfield, John appears in the 1920 Census, Douglas, Coffee, Georgia and the 1930 Census, Lineville, Clay, Alabama. In 1940, I could not locate John Davis. His wife and two children were living in the household of her Mother. John’s tombstone shows he died on 8 May 1941 at the age of 67. Where he was in 1940 when the census was taken is unknown.
