It’s Family Time~ Frank and Viola (Boatwright) Miller

 

Frank Francis Miller and Viola May Boatwright were married 2 July 1929. I don’t have a source for this marriage date but I'm sure it was shared by a related Boatwright member. If you look at the 1930 Census for Chester County, Pennsylvania you will find Frank, age 30 and Viola, age 20 and the Census shows that each of them were married at the age of 30 and 20 respectively. So we know they were married in 1929.

Viola May Boatwright, age 20, was the daughter of Frank Hunley Boatwright and Nancy Elizabeth Davis. She was borne 20 December 1909, the third child of this couple.  It is not known how this 20 year old young lady met a man from Pennsylvania. Nor is it known, by me, when and where this couple were married. But, when the Census was taken on 22 April 1930 Frank and Viola were a married couple with no children. 

In 1940, Frank and Viola were living in Morgantown, Berks, Pennsylvania. Again the Census shows them without children and Frank engaged in farming. His World War II draft card shows he was engaged in farming with a man by the name of  Jos. F. Stockwell, Bryn Mawr, PA.

It’s will be interesting to find this couple on the 1950 Census when it is released in April 2022. 

Viola May (Boatwright) Miller passed away on 6 April 1967 as a result of her battle with Breast Cancer.

Frank Francis Milles passed away  4 March 1973 in Morgantown, Berks, Pennsylvania. Both are buried in the Honey Brook United Methodist Church Cemetery, Honey Brook Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania.  

Viola May (Boatwright) Miller  is my 2nd Cousin 2X Removed.
