Jacob Drye was born ca. 1764 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. He married Mary Goldman.
After discharge from the Revolutionary War he migrated with his family to Kentucky settling in Allen County along the Kentucky and Tennessee state line.

Jacob can be found in the 1850 Census stilling living in Allen County, Kentucky. ¹
