It was one of several highlights. In 1979 I was selected as the Senior NCO of the Year from my Squadron. The incentive flight was the reward and it was awesome. We flew the Utah Flight Range; did a touch & go at SLC and did 9g's. Another hightlight was my promotion to Chief Master Sergeant (E-9) and I was thrilled to be chosesn to attend the United States Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy (SNCOA) in December 1977 (Class 77-E).
Charlie, lucky you! I know that flight had to be one of the highlights of your AF career. Not many young airmen get such an opportunity.
