Mr. W. J. D. Boan, whose home was West of Chesterfield, died suddenly from an unknown cause early Friday night at the Chesterfield Drug Store, where he had been taken for treatment. Mr. Boan had finished a day’s work for Mr. H. H. Harrall and was apparently in good health when he started for home. Mr. Bruce Douglass is said to have been attracted by his moans as went o his aid, later taking him to the Chesterfield Drug Store. He lived only a few minutes after the arrival of a physician. The exact cause of this death, the physician stated could not be definitely determined without a post-mortem examination. Mr. Boan was about [47] years of age. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Jennie Watson before her marriage, and by eight children as follows: Mrs. Susie Huneycutt, Mrs. Grace Rivers, Mrs. J. R.
