It’s Family Time~ David and Eliza Jane ‘Jannie’ White Brock

 
It's Family TimeDavid Brock, born 1848, was the son of Alexander Brock and Timmrah White. He had three brothers and two sisters. 1 2 3
 
He married Eliza Jane ‘Jannie’ White about 1874. Eliza Jane, born August 1852, was a daughter of Richmond White and Ann Parsons. 4 5 
 
The 1900 Census for Chesterfield County shows that David and Janie were married for 25 years (1875) and had 5 children of which only one was living. 6

BROCK, Wife, age 47, born in SC; married 25 years, 5 children, 1 living  and James A. BROCK, Son, age 20.
 
David Brock died on 13 Mar 1919 at the age of 71 in Cheraw, Chesterfield, South Carolina.7 He was buried on 14 Mar 1919 at Brock Cemetery in Cheraw, Chesterfield, South Carolina.8


Eliza Jane “Jannie’ died on 28 Jun 1923 at the age of 70 in Morven, Anson, North Carolina.9 She was buried on 29 Jun 1923 in Chesterfield County, South Carolina.

David Brock and Eliza Jane White had the following child that survived to adulthood:

i. James Alexander "Zannie" Brock, born 5 Feb 1880, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; married Lucretia C. Brock, 8 Dec 1912, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; died 27 Dec 1946, Columbia, Richland, South Carolina.
 
David Brock is my 1st Cousin 3 times removed.
