On Monday, December 27th the death angel visited the home of Mr. & Mrs. W. A. Privett and took from them their baby, James, 4 months old. He had been ill for [a while] with pneumonia. His physician worked faithfully and did all in his power but to no avail. James will be missed much by his father, mother, sisters and brothers, but our Heavenly Father needed him most can truthfully say our loss is his gain. The child was laid to rest at Zoar Church Tuesday afternoon o’clock, conducted by Rev. W. P. Way, Pastor of Zoar Church. A Friend.
James H. Privett was borne 28 August 1926, a son of William Alfred Privett and Mary Belle “Mae” Sellers. At the time of his death, 27 December 1926, he had 3 older siblings.
James H. Privett was buried at Zoar UMC Cemetery, Chesterfield County, South Carolina.
James H. Privett is my 2nd Cousin Once Removed.
