In the Matter of the Estate of Alexander Campbell
Daniel Campbell, administrator, of the estate of Alexander Campbell having this day filed his final account of said administration and praying citation and publication to be made according to law to To all heirs and distributors to wit James McMillan - right of his wife Catharine McMillan of the state of South Carolina, William Campbell, Caroline pervce [Purvis], Daniel McCraney, in right of his wife Harriet McRaney - state of Miss Covington County To be and personally appears before the Probate Court of Marion County and the third Monday in September next then and there to show cause if they can why said final account shall not be audited and allowed. 1
Alexander Campbell was the son of Duncan N. Campbell and his wife Mary LNU. This document provide a great case for researching sibling of you direct ancestor. The Duncan N. Campbell family migrated from Chesterfield County, South Carolina to Alabama and finally to Marion County, Mississippi. The above document proved that the wife of James McMillan of Chesterfield County, South Carolina is Catherine Campbell.
