Mary Rebecca "Becky" Kite Watson

Mary Rebecca Kite was the only child of Roland Kite and Ellen Elizabeth Massey Hurst. Ellen was previously married and lost her husband during the Civil War leaving her with two young boys.1
Mary Rebecca married John Miles Watson about 1885. Miles, as he was known, was the son of Thomas Henry Watson and Margaret Hurst.2
Mary Rebecca and Miles raised a family of seven, 5 sons and two daughters.
Mary Rebecca lost her husband in June 1935 and she passed away on 8 May 1954. She and Miles are buried at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield, South Carolina.3
