  1. Do you do much research on Eddins who served in the Civil War? Mainly, I am searching for the burial site of Calvin S. Eddins, Born c1832 - He died of Small Pox on March 1, 1884, Virginia.

I have been unable to locate a burial site for his wife, Mary "Martha," born in SC 1830 per the 1860 Census. Or, his daughter, Mary (B. 1854). Mary is shown as an Eddins along with James Riley and Fannie on one Census. I am trying to determine if Jackson was a cousin that maybe she married him and then they separated. Then, one Census showed Ann Eliz and another baby living in the same household. On a 1900 census, it showed Mary had been married to a Lewis for 20 years and had three living children, but he was not on the that same census. Yet, no evidence of any other children besides James Riley, and Mary Fannie. It seems Elizabeth the 2nd child of Mary according to the 1880 Census is never found again. It is difficult to find those who marry and move away. AT this point, I am not even sure if the children who I thought were Calvin's and Martha actually were. Jackson is only on one census with them that I have found. Ann Eliz was on a couple of Census. I would appreciate any assistance on this Eddins part of your site.

  2. Calvin S. Eddins died 1 March, 1864 NOT 1884.
I'm not an Eddins researcher and only have Eddins connected to my collateral lines.
