William M. Brock, son of Squire H. Brock and Rachel Parker was born in 1853 in Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina. He was their eight and last born child. William had 3 brothers and 4 sisters. 1 2 3
William's death certificate shows that he was married. No record has been found showing the name of William's wife.
He died on 24 Nov 1917 at the age of 64 in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, North Carolina. Cause of death was shown to be nephritis (kidney failure). The informant on his NC death certificate was Peter Haley Brock.
Peter Haley was William’s 1st Cousin once removed. The information on his death certificate is incorrect. Squire H. Brock was never married to a Miss White. His first and only wife was Rachel Parker.4
William M. Brock is my 1st Cousin 4 times removed.
