In the top article I wrote that no information has been found past 1880 for M. Ann Brock. Since that time I have found some additional information but I still DO NOT know M. Ann’s Maiden Name or exactly when she passed away.
As of my last posting about this family I mentioned that I had NO Information beyond 1880 about M. Ann [LNU] Brock. Since then I have found two Land Deeds whereby Land was sold to M. Ann [LNU] Brock by the Brothers of Samuel W. Brock, deceased and the deeds were recorded after 1880. .

1880 CENSUS: Cheraw, Chesterfield, South Carolina, Source: FHL Film 1255225, National Archives Film T9-1225, Enumeration District: 002; Page 287B, Line 29, Dwelling 533, Family 537; Anna BROCK, age 40, born in NC; Thomas BROCK, Son, age 18, born in SC; Samuel BROCK, Son, age 15, born in SC and Robert PRESLAR, Nephew, age 6, born in SC.
Was M. Ann Brock a Preslar before her marriage to Samuel W. Brock?
The death certificate of her son, Samuel Brock was of no value in identifying what his Mother's maiden name was!
If you know what M. Ann Brock surname is and/or her exact death date please contact me through this blog in the Comments section or by e-mail which can be found on the right column of this blog post.
