It’s Family Time~Stanmore Sellers Killed
Stanmore Sellers was born 1 January 1898, a son of James Arnold ‘Buck’ Sellers and Nancy Jane ‘Jennie’ Johnson.
He was named after his maternal Grandfather Stanmore P. Johnson.
On the night of 28 May 1933, Stanmore and Glenn Adams were traveling on Highway #1 near McBee, SC when his car left the road, ran down an embankment and rolled several times. Stanmore Sellers was killed in the accident; Glenn Adams survived.
Stanmore Sellers was 35 years of age. He was survived by his mother, Nancy Jane ‘Jennie’ Johnson Sellers Moore, and sister, Elizabeth Jane Sellers Huneycutt. Stanmore had another sister, Mary Bell Sellers that I have not been able to locate after the 1920 Census.
Stanmore Sellers is my 1st Cousin twice removed.
