It’s Family Time~Ambrose M. Huneycutt, Sr.

Ambrose M. Huneycutt Sr. was born about 1804 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. He appeared in censuses from 1830 to 1860. 2 He died on 14 Jan 1879 at the age of 75 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.3

Ambrose M. Huneycutt Sr. and Elizabeth "Betty" Morgan were married about 1824. Elizabeth "Betty" Morgan was born about 1797. 4 She died about 1852 at the age of 55.

Ambrose M. Huneycutt and Elizabeth Morgan had the following children:

i. Marcus Jackson "Mark" Huneycutt, born 7 Aug 1825, Montgomery County, North Carolina; married Susann, abt 1852; died 25 Oct 1913.
ii. Gabriel Huneycutt, born abt 1828, Montgomery County, North Carolina; married Jincy .
iii. George H. Huneycutt was born about 1832 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. 5 He served in the military.
iv. Ambrose M. Huneycutt Jr., born abt 1838, Montgomery County, North Carolina; married Sarah; died 20 Nov 1862 in the Civil War. .
v. Elizabeth D. Huneycutt was born about 1837 in Montgomery County, North Carolina. 6
vi. Mary Huneycutt was born about 1845. 7 8
Ambrose M. Huneycutt Sr. and Cynthia Gow were married on 14 Dec 1854.9 Cynthia Gow was born about 1830. 10

Ambrose M. Huneycutt and Cynthia Gow had the following children:

i. Eva M. Huneycutt was born about 1854. 11
ii. James Harrell Huneycutt was born on 15 Sep 1857 in Stanly County, North Carolina. 12 He died on 6 Jun 1939 at the age of 81 in Salisbury, Rowan, North Carolina.
