Mary Kepley Copple
Mary Kepley was born in Davidson Co., N. C, May 2nd, 1836, and died at her home July 13, 1902, age 66 years, 2 months and 11 days. She was married to A. K. Copple, July 9th, 1865, to this union were born seven children, three boys and four girls. The husband and two daughters survive her. She professed faith in Christ at the age of 30 and united with the Liberty Baptist Church, North Carolina. She with her husband and family came to Kansas in March 1883 and settled in Osborne county where they have since made their home. She united with the Downs Baptist church Nov. 1889 and retained her membership until her death. Mrs. Copple has been failing in health for several year and for the past two years has been entirely helpless, though amid her afflictions she was not known to murmur or complain and as the end drew near she expressed her firm faith in Christ and said to those around her that she was willing and ready to depart this life and to be with her Savior. Mary (Kepley) Copple was the daughter of Daniel Keppel. Her Mother is unknown. Alfred Kenny Copple and wife Mary moved their family of six to Kansas in March 1883. A seventh child was born after their arrival on 7 February 1884. Alfred Kenny Copple died on 22 August 1919.
Mary Ellen (Kepley) Copple is my 2nd Cousin 4X Removed.
