The Marriage of William Brooks Sellers & Mary Elimira “Mollie” Carter

William Brooks Sellers was born abt 1850, a son of Phillip A. Sellers and Martha Ann Brooks. Mary “Molly” Carter was born 25 June 1860. She was the daughter of William Carter and Mattie Fiske.

On the 23rd February, 1881, William Brooks Sellers and Mary Elmira “Molly” Carter were married at her father’s home in Anson County, North Carolina. 

William Brooks and Mollie raised a family of eight children; two sons and 6 daughters. He was a farmer his entire life.  William Brooks Sellers died 19 January 1920 in Richmond County, North Carolina. Mary “Molly (Carter) Brooks died 30 November 1936 in Lee County, North Carolina.

William Brooks Sellers is my 2nd Cousin 3X Removed.
