It’s Family Time~The Family of John Hezekiah and Mary Pauline (Morris) Brock
John Hezekiah Brock was born 5 May 1884, a son of Benjamin Franklin Brock and Louise Ellen Sellers. He was the third child of five siblings consisting of an older brother and sister along with a younger brother and sister.
Mary Pauline Morris was born 21 March 1884, a daughter of William Morris and Sarah Florence Newby.
John Hezekiah Brock and Mary Pauline Morris were married in 1905.
John Hezekiah Brock and Mary Pauline Morris had the following children:
i. Lonnie Hale Brock, born 1 Aug 1907, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; married Anna Elizabeth Harris; died 27 Dec 1991, Sanford, Lee County, North Carolina.
ii. Mary Jasmine Brock, born 8 Apr 1909, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; married Henry Wilson, 30 Jan 1929, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; died 30 Aug 1989, Kernersville, Forsyth, North Carolina.
iii. Myrtle Brock, born 8 Jul 1911, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; married Robert Lee Tucker Jr.; died 25 Nov 1997, Norwood, Stanly, North Carolina.
iv. Rosebud Beulah Brock, born 12 Aug 1915, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; married Eddie Wilson; died 7 Nov 1996, Norwood, Stanly, North Carolina.
v. William Harden "Bill" Brock, born 10 May 1917, Chesterfield, Chesterfield, South Carolina; married Elsie Mae Eudy; died 27 Jun 1995, Albemarle, Stanly, North Carolina.
vi. Lily May Brock was born on 7 May 1920 in Rockingham, Richmond, North Carolina. She died on 5 Jan 1923 at the age of 2 in Rockingham, Richmond, North Carolina.
7 vii. James Lloyd Brock, born 11 May 1923, Rockingham, Richmond, North Carolina; married Mildred Pauline Surratt; died 12 Oct 1972, Fayetteville, Cumberland, North Carolina.
John Hezekiah Brock died 2 April 1931 and Mary Pauline (Morris) Brock died on 30 January 1938. Their place of burial has not been located but it is suspected that they are both in unmarked graves in the Mizpah Cemetery, Richmond County, North Carolina.
John and Pauline are my Grand Uncle and Grand Aunt.
