James E. Caudle, age 29, was the son of Jacob Caudle and his wife Nancy.
Martha Reily ‘Mattie’ Rivers, age 19, was the daughter of Isaac Berkley Rivers and his wife Effie Wadsworth.
After a short 16 years of marriage James E. Caudle died suddenly on 4 Dec 1923 leaving surviving him, his widow, Mattie; two sons and a daughter.
Martha Reily ‘Mattie’ Rivers is my 3rd cousin twice removed.
