Obituary Sunday~William Manuel Eddings


WILLIAM M. EDDINGS

Cheraw, June 9.-William M. Eddings, a resident of Cheraw for a number of years, died suddenly at his home Saturday afternoon, his death coming as a shock to his family and friends. Mr. Eddings, who celebrated his 75th birthday anniversary two weeks ago, retired from active business several years ago.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon and the body was laid to rest in St. David’s cemetery.
Mr. Eddings is survived by his wife, four sons and three daughters, Walker Eddings and Brooks Eddings of Cheraw, R. L. Eddings of Wilmington, N.C., A. C. Eddings of Columbia, Mrs. William Bennett and Mrs. W. B. Hughey of Columbia and Mrs. T. N. Crocker of Newberry.



William Manuel Eddings, b. 17 May 1853, was the son of James Ellis Eddings and Diana Boan. He married Hattie Catherine Sharpe. 

William Manuel Eddings is my 1st cousin 3 times removed.
