Today’s subject is the Estate of William Frederick Rivers.
William Frederick Rivers, a Chesterfield merchant, died at the Charlotte Sanatorium on the late evening of 3 September 1926. He was a son of James Samuel Rivers and Laura Jane Davis.
He left a sizable estate, his widow Nettie and 7 children varying in age from 15 to 9 months. One child, Vera Mae, had passed away just pass her 3rd birthday, at age 3, on 8 August 1918.
His widow, Nettie (Hinson) Rivers was name administratrix of the Estate of her husband, William Frederick Rivers.

William Frederick Rivers was my grandfather. My grandmother was Nettie Mae Hinson Rivers.
