Alvin Raymond White was a son of Richmond White and M. Ann Parsons.
They were married by B. Sanders, a Baptist Minister in the home of Prudy Sanders (Brides Mother), Wadesboro, Anson County, North Carolina. Moses J. Sanders the father of Laura had passed away in 1874.

- Charles White, 17 Jun 1888
- John White, 17 Aug 1894
- Daisy White, b. 12 Feb. 1896
- Callie White, b.5 Aug 1897
- Lillie White, b. 28 Aug 1900
Death of Mr. A.R. White
Mr. A. R. White, formerly a resident of this county, died at his home at Cordova, in Richmond County last Thurs. Feb. 9 after a short illness and the remains were brought here Friday for burial at Mount Beulah Baptist Church burial ground. The funeral service was held at the church Friday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. T. W. Chambliss of this city.
Mr. White was a native of South Carolina but located in Anson County in 1884, and was married to Miss Laura Rosalie Sanders in 1866. (error should be 1879) The wife died 6 years ago. Eight children, four sons and four daughters survive the father. The daughters are Mrs. Andrew Tice, of Anson, Mrs. James Coward of Rockingham, and Misses Lillie and Daisy White of Cordova. The sons Messrs. W. H. White, Charles, John and Callie White, all of Richmond County but were here at the funeral service. [Messenger-Intelligencer newspaper; Feb. 13, 1911 edition. Alvin and Laura are buried in the Mount Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Wadesboro, Anson County, North Carolina
Alvin Raymond White is my 1st Cousin 3 times removed.
