In  Cheraw, on Thursday, 20th January, by the Rev .Julius J. DuBose,
James W . Blakeney, Esq., to Msis <sic> Henrietta J., third daughter of [p.198] Isaieh DuBose, Esq.

Col. James W. Blakeney and Henrietta J. Dubose were married on Thursday, 20th January 1842 in Cheraw, Chesterfield County, SC.

Sadly, Henrietta J. DuBose Blakeney passed away on 26 September 1842. Col. James W. then married Virginia M. DuBose a sister of his first wife.

THE SOUTH-CAROLINIAN Issue of October 13, 1842 Died at the summer residence of her father, near Cheraw, on the night of the 26th ult., Mrs. Henrietta J., wife of Col. James W. Blakeney, and daughter of Mr. Isaiah DuBose.

No tombstone has been found for Henrietta J. Dubose Blakeney.

Col. James W. Blakeney died on 27 December 1863 according to his FindAGrave Memorial.
