One document states that William Blakeney of the District of
Chesterfield died intestate in 1842, leaving no children.
Married in Chesterfield Dist., on Thursday evening, the 25th inst., by
W. L. Robeson, Esq., Mr. Obedah Gullage, to Mrs. Lancy Boatright. (July
1, 1840)
This document show that Obediah Gulledge and Lavicy (Thurman) Boatwright was married on the 25 inst. (this month). Since the newspaper edition is 1 July 1840 the marriage date for the two has to be 25 June 1840. This is the first document I have seen with an actual date. Drury Boatwright War of 1812 Pension records says the marriage took place in the Fall of 1839,
