Mary Cantey, eldest daughter of Capt. John Cantey of
Camden and Mary McGirt his wife, was "baptized Dec. 2,
1753, aged 4 years," in Prince Frederick Parish; but the
date of her death is not known. On Nov. 19, 1769, she
married Ely Kershaw, (d. 1780, Dec, aged 37.)

Ellerbe, was born in Chesterfield County, S. C., December 3, 1847[?];

February 13, 1873; died October 11, 1877.
